What this release includes

• Active internal users as the default Add Followers selection.
• A deliberate Include External Contacts option when a customer, supplier, portal user, or another contact is required.
• Unrestricted removal of existing followers.
• Normal Odoo follower, notification, and subtype behaviour after selection.

Using this release

Open Add Followers on a chatter-enabled record. Leave Include External Contacts unticked to find active internal colleagues first. Tick it only when an external contact should be available for selection.

Use the standard Odoo follower-management action to remove an existing follower.

Existing records and upgrades

Installing or upgrading Odoo Follower Guard does not rewrite follower records that already exist. Refresh the backend after an upgrade so the current wizard view is loaded.
