Why We Built It
We were spending too long looking for apps.
When we first started using Odoo, we ran into a surprisingly frustrating problem: finding the app we wanted.
Odoo’s consistent icon design looks clean, but as our launcher filled up we found ourselves scanning backwards and forwards trying to recognise the right application. During setup and implementation, something we used regularly could still take minutes to find.
We did not need a complicated solution.
We wanted the business apps arranged alphabetically, with Apps and Settings kept at the end where they were easy to reach while configuring Odoo.
So we built Odoo App Organiser.
What started as a fix for our own Odoo environment became something we now use every day.

How It Works
- Install the module and refresh the Odoo backend.
- Business apps begin in alphabetical order, with Apps and Settings kept at the end.
- Each user can drag apps into a personal order.
- The saved order is restored for that user after reload, including in another browser or device.

Technical details
Odoo 19 Enterprise. Supported on Odoo.sh and self-hosted or on-premise Odoo where custom modules can be installed. Odoo Online does not support installation of this third-party module.
Licence
OPL-1. One perpetual licence covers one production Odoo database, unlimited users and companies in that database, and its related development, staging, test and backup clones.
Included support
The paid licence includes investigation and correction of reproducible defects and maintenance releases for the supported current Odoo major version, Odoo 19. Installation, configuration, customisation, workflow changes, third-party problems and consulting may fall outside included product support.
