Find colleagues faster
Internal users are the normal starting point rather than being mixed into a much larger external contact population.
Odoo Follower Guard
As your Odoo contact database grows, finding the right colleague among customers, suppliers and other contacts becomes harder.
Odoo Follower Guard puts active internal users first when adding followers and makes the inclusion of external contacts a deliberate choice.
That makes everyday collaboration faster and helps reduce the risk of accidentally including an external person on correspondence intended for internal review.

Internal users are the normal starting point rather than being mixed into a much larger external contact population.
External contacts are not suggested by default, helping reduce the chance that the wrong person is added.
When a customer, supplier or other external contact genuinely needs to follow a record, the user can deliberately include external contacts.
When our Odoo database was small, adding a follower was straightforward.
As customers, suppliers and other external contacts accumulated, finding an internal colleague became progressively harder.
More importantly, it became surprisingly easy to select an external contact when we meant to add a member of staff.
That is an easy human mistake, but depending on the conversation, the consequences can be significant.
We built Odoo Follower Guard to make the common internal workflow faster and safer while keeping external followers available when they are genuinely required.
